It’s that time of year when the wind is howling outside and it’s a brisk -20 Celsius without the wind chill. Brrr! Here’s a great recipe with a couple of treats thrown it to make you feel like you’ve been wrapped in a warm blanket no matter where you are.
- Your favourite coffee mug
- Ground coffee beans (you can grind them yourself if you wish)
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
- 3 tbsp of diet hot chocolate
- A French press
- Hot water
While the water boils, scoop ground coffee into the French press. I used 4 tbsp of grounds because I like my coffee a bit stronger. Put 3 tbsp of the low cal hot chocolate mix into the bottom of your mug and measure out 1/2 cup of mini marshmallows. When the water is boiled, pour it over the coffee grounds and let it brew for 5 minutes before pressing it. Pour it on top of the hot chocolate mix and stir. Add the 1/2 cup of mini marshmallows and enjoy! The perfect mix of chocolate, coffee and marshmallowy delight! How easy was that? AND the best part is…it’s only 135 calories! Awesome, now go make this and enjoy with a good book<3
